To help Apex PR and DoorDash stand out at the Calgary Stampede, KuwlVu delivered a custom vehicle transformation built to command attention. We fully custom-fabricated an oversized red cowboy hat featuring the signature DoorDash logo, along with custom bull horns for the front end, seamlessly integrating them onto a custom-wrapped truck. Every detail was crafted to ensure maximum brand alignment, creating an unforgettable, high-visibility stunt that drove instant social engagement throughout the festival.
Behind the scenes of the Calgary Stampede build: kuwlvu custom-sculpted the oversized DoorDash cowboy hat using high-density foam. By utilizing foam machining and multi-block assembly, we achieved smooth, dramatic curves on a massive scale without sacrificing structural stability. The raw foam was then hard-coated, painted, and branded to transform raw shop materials into a durable, weather-resistant vehicle topper.
Following fabrication and hard-coating, the oversized cowboy hat was painted in vibrant DoorDash red and finished with crisp, custom brand graphics. To safely secure the massive structure to the vehicle, kuwlvu engineered and welded a custom steel support frame. Designed to mount seamlessly into the truck bed, this heavy-duty frame anchored the topper at the precise height and angle required to float cleanly above the truck cab.
